this budget hotel in ueno is fantastic for the price. it's just 8 minutes from ueno station and has a great supermarket nearby. the lobby has coffee and hot water stations, which is a nice touch. the staff were incredibly helpful, too! staying here really felt like being soaked in the charm of old japan.

Coffee and hot water supply in the lounge, Luggage storage availability, Laundry facilities for self-service
The room size is absurdly small, making it feel cramped!!! The walk to the nearest station is longer than expected, making outings less convenient!!! The breakfast setup resembles a budget canteen, lacking privacy and charm!!!

We had a wonderful time exploring Ueno Park and its museums, which were just a short walk away. The hotel was clean and perfect for our large family, with comfy beds and a great shower. The free coffee in the lobby was a nice touch, keeping us energized for our adventures.
In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast area could use more inviting decor. A bigger dining space would be great for families with children.

I was delighted by the hotel's modern decor and friendly atmosphere. It's conveniently located near Ueno Park, making it easy for me to enjoy leisurely strolls in the beautiful gardens, which was wonderful for a senior like me.
Better accessibility in common areas would be great.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the nearby station and various eateries. The bathroom was updated and clean, providing a pleasant experience during the stay. However, the room was quite small, which may not suit everyone, and the overall facilities showed signs of age. Breakfast options were limited, and although reasonably priced, they didn't stand out as memorable.

Comfortable Stay with Strong Shower
I enjoyed my stay here, especially the strong water pressure in the spacious shower, which was the highlight after long days of exploring. The bed and comforter provided a good night's sleep each night. However, the location is a bit quiet, making it a trek to nearby dining options.

Couples looking for decent stay
The double bed was surprisingly comfortable and the location was quiet at night, which is rare, believe me. There's a small canteen on the ground floor—endless hot and cold beverages, even a microwave for late-night meals.

Will come back
The location is perfect, just a short walk from Ueno station. The room was cozy but clean, with a private bathroom featuring a strong shower. Amenities included air conditioning, a refrigerator, and free toiletries. The lobby offers free coffee and tea. Coin laundry on the second floor. Nice and quiet for a good night's sleep.

So, the room was super tiny! Hard to move around with our luggage. The bathroom was spacious, which was nice. Everything was clean, and the towels looked great. But be ready to live out of your suitcase. They didn’t have much storage. The mattress was comfy, but that heavy comforter? Woke up sweating every morning. They really need to check their cleaning routine, though. Found long hair on the sheets upon check-in. Just saying!

A Great Base for Exploring Tokyo!
Enjoyed my stay here! The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. Nearby, there's an amazing sushi restaurant that became my go-to for dinner. The location was quieter than expected, making it easy to unwind after a day of touring. Just remember to bring your own cups if borrowing a kettle!
